Kylie has 18+ driving years of experience after passing
her test at only 17. With various job roles, working all over the
country she has mountains of experience on all road types including
motorways and rural country roads.
Kylie has 2 young children and
understands how much freedom and independence being able to drive can
give you. Whilst Kylie has a fun and engaging approach to her lesson,
pupils are always encouraged to push out of their comfort zone to
achieve the ultimate goal… enjoying the freedom and independence driving
can bring!
My name is Pete, I am Norfolk
through and through, I hail from near Fakenham, lived in Norwich for a
time and now enjoying life living in Sutton near Stalham, with my wife
and son.
Having lived in very rural areas for most of my life ,the need to
drive was great, hence I passed at 17 and currently have 27 years of
driving experience, from small to large cars, from vans to small trucks,
on a wide variety of different kinds of roads and weather conditions.
With my wife being a driving instructor already, I decided I want to
pass my skills to up and coming drivers as well, initially enlisting the
help of a well known instructor trainer at How 2 Drive. Then Chilled
Driving Tuition gave me the opportunity to teach on a training basis
which ultimately resulted in qualification in 2017.
I come to KSM having amassed 2 and a half years experience fully
qualified (plus 1 year training badge), teaching students on a weekly
and intensive basis. I take pride in my work and feel that driving
lessons should always be delivered in a professional, calm, relaxed and
fun environment to get the best results. It’s great to see the
achievements made, particularly when students move out of that comfort
zone, and ultimately when they pass too.
It’s a life skill, it’s
freedom, it’s opening up opportunities, and having been in that boat
myself, I know what a fantastic feeling it is to get that licence.
In my spare time I enjoy listening to live music of various genres, and play in an amateur Brass Band.
I look forward to meeting you to start your driving journey.
Emily Dixon has been an instructor for over 15 years, has a young son and enjoys working alongside her husband, Pete Dixon, at KSM Driving Tuition. Emily is renowned for her patience and heart of gold.
I’m Shelly, I’m 30 something
and I’m married with two young sons. I live in Stalham, and have done for most of my life. I became a Driving Instructor after nearly 18 years working in
the Health and Social care and began looking for a new challenge,
something more family friendly, but also a job where I could still help
people to achieve in life.
I have been driving since 2000 and I’ve always enjoyed driving,
and the freedom and independence that being able to drive brings. It
great to know I have the ability to influence new drivers, young and
old, how to be safe and confident drivers.
In my spare time, I love camping with my family in our vintage
Campervan and generally being outdoors, walking and outdoor activities. I
have been riding horses for 35 years, and get the opportunity to ride
from time to time l, after my own horse has now been retired.
I will offer informative and friendly lessons, tailored too
your needs. Working with KSM, and their fantastic high pass rate, let us
help you make the world your oyster.
Hi, I am Becky, mum of two and wife to a livestock farmer.
I have always lived in Norfolk and currently call the lovely
village of Freethorpe home.
I have been driving since 2005 and
have great appreciation for the freedom and independence it has given me, having
always lived in more rural locations.
It definitely made the commute to
college in Kings Lynn a lot easier where I studied Media make-up. I am a big fan of making memories, so in my spare time I
like to go on lots of adventures with my family and friends.
I have entered the world of
Driving Tuition following a 15-year career in Health and Social care where I
completed many different roles, learning along the way that training was my
passion.
Luckily a leap of faith from Kylie
and the desire of a new challenge and career has led to me becoming the newest
member of KSM and I could not be more excited to progress and teach the next
generation of drivers.
Bringing knowledgeable, friendly, person centred teaching to
each lesson I hope that every learner enjoys each session as much as I enjoy
teaching them. Helping them to gain the confidence of safe driving and the
independence that comes along with it.
I’m Chris Earll. I feel privileged to be able to say I’m now part of such a supportive and
successful team.
I moved to Norfolk from East London in early 2000, I’ve
spent the last 27 years in various areas of the print industry and have enjoyed
being a manager of both small and large teams of people for the past 19 years
where I have been involved in various aspects of training people and have
always enjoyed training and helping people to better themselves.
I made the decision to step out of my comfort zone and leave
print and all I knew to take on a new challenge by retraining as a driving
instructor. After meeting Kylie and hearing what a successful team Kylie had
and what KSM was all about I was ecstatic when she said she was prepared to put
her faith in me and help me to become a full time driving instructor.
I’m hoping the opportunity to be self-employed will in turn
allow me to have a much better work- family life balance where I can spend more
time with my Wife and son due to not having to work shifts. My approach to training is simply try and make the learning process
as relaxed and enjoyable as possible as I believe from my experiences if people
enjoy their training and feel relaxed, they will learn better.
In my spare time I like to play golf and enjoy teaching my
son how to play down at the driving range, I also have a passion for darts
where I’m proud to say I have represented Norfolk over 30 times and as a family
we like to go camping in our caravan with our friends as well as enjoying nice
bike rides.
I’m Trevor,
I’m 40 something and live in the country side of Reedham with my partner and her two teenage children.
I have lived in Norfolk for the past 6 years and have made many lovely memories here, but I’m originally from Bovingdon in Hertfordshire. I have been driving for 27 years and bring my knowledge of being a driving instructor previously back to the drawing board. Following many years of being a baker, I wanted to go back to driving as it gives you freedom and independence, and I want to teach the next generation of drivers what it can feel like in a professional, relaxed and chilled environment with lesson plans adapted to the individual learner.
I look forward to meeting you soon
Born in Canada I moved to the UK 25 years ago and have been driving the length and width of the country as a cabaret vocalist for most of that time.
I am happy to join a great team at KSM and am excited to be the companies first Automatic driving instructor and look forward to teaching throughout the week in the Norfolk area.
In my spare time I still do the odd gig and go to live events and music venues all over the country.
Hey, I’m Emily, apart of the ever growing (& hugely successful) KSM team.
When I’m not teaching I enjoy spending time with my partner & friends either doing something fun & active or filling our faces with food - both preferably abroad, somewhere hot & sunny!
With a background career in travel, I know first hand how important it is to help people get from A to B and that’s exactly what learning to drive is: a journey.
Although it is a challenging journey with lots of sidesteps, the end goal of driving safely and passing your test is always achievable with 3 things:
•The ‘want’ to learn; being willing to put in the work & time in - Rome wasn’t built in a day!
• Having patience with yourself and the process; understanding you’re only human and it’s natural to make mistakes when trying something brand new - the key is learning from these mistakes.
• Choosing the right instructor; I pride myself on educating and supporting my students from day 1 all the way through to their final test.
I personally have sat many observational exams where my every action has been critiqued so I know just how nerve racking test day can be, but with quality training & confidence in your own ability you have a much higher chance at success! I can honestly say the day I passed my driving test at 18 years old was one of the top 3 happiest days of my life, and I can’t wait to be part of that journey with you!
Bio coming soon!
