KSM Driving Tuition – Intensive Course Terms & Conditions
1. Booking & Deposits
A deposit of £292 is required to secure your intensive course. This consists of:
- £200 (deducted from the cost of your course – non-refundable as this secures the instructor’s time for your chosen week).
- £62 practical test fee (paid directly to the DVSA).
- £30 booking and cancellation-finding service.
By paying the deposit, you agree to these terms and conditions.
2. Final Payment
The remaining course balance must be paid no later than 7 days before your course start date. If payment is not received on time, your course will be forfeited and the deposit will not be refunded.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
- The £200 course element of the deposit is strictly non-refundable.
- The £62 DVSA test fee is refundable only if the test has not yet been booked.
- The £30 booking and cancellation-finding service is non-refundable once the service has been provided.
- If you cancel within 14 days of your course start date, all fees paid will be forfeited.
- In the unlikely event KSM Driving Tuition has to cancel your course, you will be offered either a full refund (excluding any DVSA test fees already paid) or the option to reschedule.
4. Attendance & Rescheduling
You must attend all lessons at the agreed times. Failure to attend, or lateness of more than 15 minutes, may result in the lesson time being lost without refund. Rescheduling of lessons is subject to instructor availability and cannot be guaranteed.
5. Driving Licence & Legal Requirements
You must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence and present it at the start of your course. It is your responsibility to ensure you meet DVSA eyesight and medical requirements. Lessons will be refused if you cannot present your licence or are unfit to drive, and no refund will be given.
6. Driving Test
While every effort will be made to secure a suitable driving test, KSM Driving Tuition cannot guarantee DVSA test
availability. The instructor reserves the right to withhold the training vehicle for the test if, in their professional opinion, you are
not at a safe standard to drive independently. The cost of additional tests due to cancellation or failure remains the pupil’s responsibility.
7. Instructor’s Rights
The instructor may adjust lesson structure depending on progress. Unsafe, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour may result in immediate termination of the course without refund.
8. Liability
KSM Driving Tuition is not responsible for DVSA cancellations, adverse weather, or events outside our control.
No compensation will be offered for loss of fees in such circumstances.
