Kylie Eames

Kylie has 18+ driving years of experience after passing her test at only 17. With various job roles, working all over the country she has mountains of experience on all road types including motorways and rural country roads.

Kylie has 2 young children and understands how much freedom and independence being able to drive can give you. Whilst Kylie has a fun and engaging approach to her lesson, pupils are always encouraged to push out of their comfort zone to achieve the ultimate goal… enjoying the freedom and independence driving can bring!

Pete Dixon

My name is Pete, I am Norfolk through and through, I hail from near Fakenham, lived in Norwich for a time and now enjoying life living in Sutton near Stalham, with my wife and son.   Having lived in very rural areas for most of my life ,the need to drive was great, hence I passed at 17 and currently have 27 years of driving experience, from small to large cars, from vans to small trucks, on a wide variety of different kinds of roads and weather conditions.

With my wife being a driving instructor already, I decided I want to pass my skills to up and coming drivers as well, initially enlisting the help of a well known instructor trainer at How 2 Drive. Then Chilled Driving Tuition gave me the opportunity to teach on a training basis which ultimately resulted in qualification in 2017. I come to KSM having amassed 2 and a half years experience fully qualified (plus 1 year training badge), teaching students on a weekly and intensive basis. I take pride in my work and feel that driving lessons should always be delivered in a professional, calm, relaxed and fun environment to get the best results. It’s great to see the achievements made, particularly when students move out of that comfort zone, and ultimately when they pass too.

It’s a life skill, it’s freedom, it’s opening up opportunities, and having been in that boat myself, I know what a fantastic feeling it is to get that licence.  In my spare time I enjoy listening to live music of various genres, and play in an amateur Brass Band.  I look forward to meeting you to start your driving journey.

Emily Dixon

Emily Dixon has been an instructor for over 15 years, has a young son and enjoys working alongside her husband, Pete Dixon, at KSM Driving Tuition. Emily is renowned for her patience and heart of gold.

Becky Fisher

Hi, I am Becky, mum of two and wife to a livestock farmer. I have always lived in Norfolk and currently call the lovely village of Freethorpe home.

I have been driving since 2005 and have great appreciation for the freedom and independence it has given me, having always lived in more rural locations. It definitely made the commute to college in Kings Lynn a lot easier where I studied Media make-up. I am a big fan of making memories, so in my spare time I like to go on lots of adventures with my family and friends.

I have entered the world of Driving Tuition following a 15-year career in Health and Social care where I completed many different roles, learning along the way that training was my passion. Luckily a leap of faith from Kylie and the desire of a new challenge and career has led to me becoming the newest member of KSM and I could not be more excited to progress and teach the next generation of drivers.
Bringing knowledgeable, friendly, person centred teaching to each lesson I hope that every learner enjoys each session as much as I enjoy teaching them. Helping them to gain the confidence of safe driving and the independence that comes along with it.

Chris Earll

I’m Chris Earll. I feel privileged to be able to say I’m now part of such a supportive and successful team.

I moved to Norfolk from East London in early 2000, I’ve spent the last 27 years in various areas of the print industry and have enjoyed being a manager of both small and large teams of people for the past 19 years where I have been involved in various aspects of training people and have always enjoyed training and helping people to better themselves.

I made the decision to step out of my comfort zone and leave print and all I knew to take on a new challenge by retraining as a driving instructor. After meeting Kylie and hearing what a successful team Kylie had and what KSM was all about I was ecstatic when she said she was prepared to put her faith in me and help me to become a full time driving instructor.

I’m hoping the opportunity to be self-employed will in turn allow me to have a much better work- family life balance where I can spend more time with my Wife and son due to not having to work shifts. My approach to training is simply try and make the learning process as relaxed and enjoyable as possible as I believe from my experiences if people enjoy their training and feel relaxed, they will learn better.

In my spare time I like to play golf and enjoy teaching my son how to play down at the driving range, I also have a passion for darts where I’m proud to say I have represented Norfolk over 30 times and as a family we like to go camping in our caravan with our friends as well as enjoying nice bike rides.

Trevor Spinks

I’m Trevor,

I’m 40 something and live in the country side of Reedham with my partner and her two teenage children.
I have lived in Norfolk for the past 6 years and have made many lovely memories here, but I’m originally from Bovingdon in Hertfordshire. I have been driving for 27 years and bring my knowledge of being a driving instructor previously back to the drawing board. Following many years of being a baker, I wanted to go back to driving as it gives you freedom and independence, and I want to teach the next generation of drivers what it can feel like in a professional, relaxed and chilled environment with lesson plans adapted to the individual learner.

I look forward to meeting you soon

Andy Salton

Born in Canada I moved to the UK 25 years ago and have been driving the length and width of the country as a cabaret vocalist for most of that time.

I am happy to join a great team at KSM and am excited to be the companies first Automatic driving instructor and look forward to teaching throughout the week in the Norfolk area.

In my spare time I still do the odd gig and go to live events and music venues all over the country.

Emily Cardy

Hey, I’m Emily, apart of the ever growing (& hugely successful) KSM team.

When I’m not teaching I enjoy spending time with my partner & friends either doing something fun & active or filling our faces with food - both preferably abroad, somewhere hot & sunny!

With a background career in travel, I know first hand how important it is to help people get from A to B and that’s exactly what learning to drive is: a journey.

Although it is a challenging journey with lots of sidesteps, the end goal of driving safely and passing your test is always achievable with 3 things:

•The ‘want’ to learn; being willing to put in the work & time in - Rome wasn’t built in a day!
• Having patience with yourself and the process; understanding you’re only human and it’s natural to make mistakes when trying something brand new - the key is learning from these mistakes.
• Choosing the right instructor; I pride myself on educating and supporting my students from day 1 all the way through to their final test.

I personally have sat many observational exams where my every action has been critiqued so I know just how nerve racking test day can be, but with quality training & confidence in your own ability you have a much higher chance at success! I can honestly say the day I passed my driving test at 18 years old was one of the top 3 happiest days of my life, and I can’t wait to be part of that journey with you!

Thomas Kiy

Hello I’m Tom,

I'm still a big kid at heart; I love motorbikes and aeroplanes! I used to race motorbikes, now I prefer taking trips in my plane on sunny days as I have recently got my pilot’s licence.

I have been driving for 32 years, 16+ years as a professional driver, driving lorries in the UK and Europe. I have a wealth of experience of being on the road and love sharing my skills, knowledge and experiences with my pupils so they can become successful, safe drivers. I believe that learning to drive should be a positive, rewarding and most of all fun experience.

I understand that for many, learning to drive can be a source of anxiety and nervousness. That’s why I approach each lesson with patience and empathy, creating a supportive environment where my students feel comfortable expressing their concerns. My goal is to help overcome fears, ensuring they leave each session with newfound confidence and a sense of accomplishment.

I am looking forward to meeting my pupils and seeing them excel!

Lewis Mallett

Hi, I’m Lewis.

I was originally born & raised in Norwich until I moved to just outside Thetford. I live with my wife, our new born baby and our 2 crazy dogs. I love going on holidays and spending time with our family at weekends.

I have been driving since 2009 and have also spent 10 of these years as an HGV driver which has taken me all over the UK and Ireland on long distance journeys. After working 70-hour weeks for most of the last 10 years and now with a new born, I decided it was time to for a new career and decided that becoming a driving instructor enabled me to have a better home/work life balance along with passing on my experience whilst continuing to do what I enjoy the most – being on the road.

I am very understanding that a lot of people may experience anxiety around driving so I am patient & laid back with a good sense of humour.

I’m looking forward to helping you on your driving journey & teaching the next generation of drivers.

Kenneth Eze

Hey,

My name is Ken, I didn’t start my career in the driver’s seat. I began as a Software Test Engineer, breaking systems for a living and teaching others how to do the same. That world taught me a few important things: how to stay calm under pressure, how to explain complicated stuff in plain English, and how to coach people step by step until they get it. Turns out, those skills work brilliantly not just in tech, but behind the wheel too.

My journey into driving instruction happened by chance, I used to help friends get ready for their driving tests in automatic cars, and I enjoyed it way more than I expected. One day at a test centre, I met a driving instructor called Kylie. I casually asked if she would train me and she said yes. That simple conversation started what has now become a new passion and career.

Today I specialise in automatic driving lessons and I keep things simple, calm and enjoyable. I teach in a way that makes sense, without overcomplicating things or barking instructions. There is no shouting, no pressure and no drama, just steady progress and growing confidence. My goal is not only to help you pass your test but to make you a safe, capable and confident driver for life.

Sam Stoddart

Hi, I’m Sam, I’m married and a proud dad of two, and I’ve always had a passion for driving and helping others learn new skills.

I know how important it is to feel confident and comfortable behind the wheel, so my lessons are always calm, patient, and supportive, helping learners progress at their own pace. Whether you’re brand new to driving or further down the road, I aim to make each session relaxed, enjoyable, and focused on building real confidence on the road.

I take great pride in seeing my learners grow — from those first few nervous minutes in the driver’s seat to the moment they gain that freedom that driving brings and realise what they’ve achieved.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and getting out and about making memories. I look forward to meeting you and helping you start your own driving journey.

Sadjid Javed

I am Sajid Javed, father of two sons and a daughter. I moved from Oxford to Norwich in 2006. I have an MA in English literature and also completed my MBA from the University of East Anglia. Previously working as a teacher, I got valuable experience to develop a range of teaching strategies tailored to different learning needs.

I have 19+ years of driving experience and am passionate about sharing my knowledge to foster a lifelong love of safe driving. My enthusiasm about driving has enabled me to help many friends and family members pass their driving tests, even before starting my career as a driving instructor. I’m very excited to join KSM and eager to pass on my experience and skills to future generations.

Mary-Beth Fleming

Hi, I’m Mary-Beth, and I’m a friendly, patient driving instructor with over 25 years of driving experience. I became a driving instructor because I wanted the freedom of being my own boss and the opportunity to help people achieve something truly life-changing — the confidence and independence that comes with learning to drive.

I take pride in creating a calm, supportive learning environment where each lesson is tailored to your individual needs. Whether you’re a complete beginner or building on existing skills, I’ll help you develop safe habits, confidence, and skills for life. Watching learners grow in confidence and reach their goals is one of the best parts of my job — that “I’ve passed!” moment will never stops being special.

Outside of teaching, I’m a keen runner and love taking on marathons. I enjoy long walks with my little dog, spending time with my two grown-up children, exploring new places, and indulging my love of history. I’m also a big animal lover and never say no to an adventure — whether it’s a new trail, a bit of travel, or simply discovering somewhere new close to home.

Lucy

Hi, I’m Lucy!

I live in Martham with my husband, our two young daughters, and our big, lovable Sheepadoodle,

Ralph. With over 15 years of experience in health and social care, I’ve built a strong passion for helping and supporting people through all stages of life. That same passion now inspires my work as I guide learners on their journey to becoming confident, safe, and knowledgeable drivers.

I bring a calm, patient, and fun approach to every lesson, creating a relaxed environment where learners can grow their independence, build their skills, and truly enjoy the process. I’m proud to be part of the amazing team at KSM Driving Tuition, where we thrive on being great, pupil-centred instructors. I look forward to meeting you all
